You Can Call Me Queen Bee Lennon

Micro-lot coffee now brewing at Cornerstone!

Queen Bee Lennon espressoTry. This. Coffee.

Available at Cornerstone for a limited time, Queen Bee Lennon is the fifth installment of the Queen Bee micro-lot series from our superlative fair-trade organic roaster, Equal Exchange. The organization describes Queen Bee Lennon as “hyper sweet and silky, bursting with tart cherry, refined lemon and a buttery aftertaste.” This coffee, according to Equal Exchange, shines as an espresso, but it also tastes great brewed in the common method.

The name of the coffee, Lennon, actually comes from the small Honduran farmer, Lennon Diaz, who cultivated these exceptional beans. Lennon is one of many small farmers who have benefited from burgeoning investment in the cultivation of small lots of exceptional coffee beans. Micro-lot coffees are characterized by pleasant and complex flavor profiles due to the extra attention invested in them during processing. Queen Bee Lennon is no exception to this rule! Cornerstone will be offering samples of the coffee periodically until it sells out.
